To install SYSBUSY. 1. Unzip this file. There are 2 files contained within the zip file. This document and the binary executable for the Tandem. 2. IXF or FTP the SYSBUSY file to the Tandem. You should specify a binary transfer. Put the file in $system.system or wherever it is convienient. 3. On the Tandem, you will have to do a "FUP ALTER SYSBUSY, CODE 100" before you can run SYSBUSY. 4. Type SYSBUSY at the Tacl prompt. Optionally a system name may be included on the run line to monitor another system. i.e. sysbusy \test No remote password or special privledges are required. 5. When done, press F16 to exit SYSBUSY. SYSBUSY has been tuned to use minimal system resources. Performance monitoring utilites which use a lot of resources are not very useful. SYSBUSY is not licensed and uses only standard procedure calls. It does not required measure to be running. Feel free to pass this out to friends!
